I recently had the pleasure of working with an incredible builder. From building walls, relining and fitting ceilings into a challenging old house renovation, the eye to detail and professionalism displayed by Tom and his team were absolutely outstanding.
First and foremost, I was extremely impressed by Tom’s punctuality. Every day, without fail, they arrived promptly and ready to tackle the day’s tasks. This level of dedication to the project’s timeline was a breath of fresh air, as it ensured minimal disruptions to my daily routine and helped keep the project on track.
Moreover, Tom’s ability to come up with alternative solutions was truly commendable. There were a few unexpected challenges that arose during the renovation process, but Tom never hesitated to offer creative ideas and suggestions. Works carried out: Removal of a small window, replaced with larger window, replaced internal wall lining with new, finishing framing to window inside and out, making a new larger window awning, laying a new hoop pine floor to kitchen.
Start to finish Gould Construction has been nothing but outstanding. Promptly quoting the job, clear and transparent communications, flexibility to work within my needs, punctuality, workmanship, and on top of that empathy and patience in dealing with me and my current health limitations.
Tom and Xander were an absolute breeze to deal with and made it very easy for me to have them in my workspace and home for 4 days. There is not one thing I can fault the team on.

We engaged Tom Gould of Gould Construction to do an extensive renovation to our property at Peregian Springs. The renovation consisted of work both interior and exterior. Major portions of the house had to be completely gutted, with two new bathrooms, kitchen and laundry being created. The backyard and side entrance to the house also had to be extensively recreated with the incorporation of decking and garden retainers. This work was quite complicated and required thorough planning, which incorporated the professional input of both design and structural engineering personnel. During the course of this process we had to rely heavily on the guidance and advice of Tom to create a residence which, at the end of the day, has met all our expectations.
Tom has had extensive experience in multiple facets of building construction and was the ideal professional to guide us successfully through the many decisions we had to make along the way. Tom was always extremely easy to communicate with. We could readily engage with him whether onsite or after hours, when we needed answers to questions relating to forthcoming ideas of design and planning. Tom was always very helpful, nothing was a problem, he was very personable and pleasant to deal with during the course of the large renovation we undertook. His supervision of the project, attention to details and his precise and careful ordering of materials was excellent. Tom and his team were always punctual. We were also provided with plenty of notice of other trades coming onsite and any changes to the work schedule.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Gould Construction to handle any residential building project after experiencing the quality of workmanship performed on our own home renovation.

We have been very happy to use Tom at Gould Construction a few times to complete projects around our home. From installing a steel beam inside our patio ceiling, which allowed the removal of two brick pillars and opening the patio right up. To shelving in our linen cupboard and pantry and the installation of a timber wall with built in double cavity sliding doors to close up our TV room. Gould Construction recently added a double gabled portico to our front entry which brings character to our home but also adds as protection from the elements. Tom has always been caring and helpful in all that he has done, making sure we got the best results and in the time frame we needed it. I would highly recommend Gould Construction for any building works you may need.
